MacMach.

Mach (dev. by CMU) is a multiprocessing, virtual-memory OS that is compatible with UNIX Sys 5 with Berkeley 4.3 enhancements.  Its multiprocessing features allow processors to collectively execute parts of a task without designating one processor as the "master."
